Terms of Service

Last updated: June 2025

By using Toolgin, you agree to these terms. They’re written to be readable — please take a moment to review them.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Toolgin (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Service.

2. Description of Service

Toolgin provides a collection of free browser-based utility tools including text manipulation, encoding/decoding, image processing, and miscellaneous tools. All processing occurs client-side in your browser; we do not store or process your inputs on our servers.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time without notice.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Toolgin to:

  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Infringe upon the intellectual property rights of others
  • Transmit harmful, offensive, or illegal content
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape excessively, or disrupt the Service
  • Circumvent any security measures or access controls
  • Impersonate any person or entity

4. Intellectual Property

The Toolgin name, logo, and website design are our intellectual property. The open-source libraries used in our tools retain their respective licenses.

You retain full ownership of any content you process through our tools. By using the Service you do not grant us any license to your content — since all processing is client-side, we never receive it.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

Toolgin is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that:

  • The Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
  • Results produced by any tool will be accurate or suitable for any particular purpose
  • Any bugs or errors will be corrected

Always verify important results independently. Do not rely solely on Toolgin for critical applications without independent verification.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Toolgin and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to use the Service (which, as Toolgin is free, is zero).

7. Third-Party Links and Services

The Service may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or terms of those third parties. Accessing third-party resources is at your own risk.

8. Privacy

Your use of Toolgin is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting the updated Terms on this page with a new “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
