How is WPM calculated?
Words per minute is calculated as (characters ÷ 5) ÷ (time in minutes). 26 letters ÷ 5 = 5.2 'words', divided by your time.
Are wrong keypresses counted?
Yes — every wrong keypress is tracked as a mistake and reduces your accuracy score.
Where are scores saved?
Scores are saved in your browser's localStorage. They persist across sessions but are not synced across devices.
